Deli Sulz in Cologne

Even before the lock down, I was regularly in the deli and I have to say that I still really enjoy ordering food there, taking away or just getting a coffee there. The ambience is so cozy and modern, that inspires me again and again! The employees are always friendly and do not even show the difficult situation! With all the variety that Sülz offers, this shop is really a real enrichment, if not for all of Cologne. From warm to cold dishes, from slices to cakes, everything is really delicious and prepared with so much love that you can literally taste it! I also think it's great how the concept is geared towards local, fresh and healthy products. I really don't write reviews very often, but I really had to get rid of that. Many thanks to the entire team, I'm already looking forward to the next time!

Delicious and hip place in the middle of Sülz. Perfect for breakfast, a healthy lunch, a glass of wine or a working session with a good coffee. Tried all of it and can’t decide what’s best. Personal recommendation are the smoothie bowls (also great to take-away/home).

Food is already ready in the display, which means that some products don't look that appealing. The young man at the cash register was not yet familiar with the products. The bowl is ok, but not a highlight. The sauce was in the bottom of the bowl. A note on self-service on the blackboard outside would be great.

Delicious, creative and healthy cuisine at this new spot in Sülz. Great to sit and eat or to grab something on the go.

Very good food, customer service has to improve a lot, it is my second time in the place and the 2 times they take time to serve the customer, the kelners look at the table and no one comes to serve the table. The food takes an hour or more, but when it arrives it is very good. Long wait for the dishes, but when they arrive very good

It's great that Sülz finally has such a young and modern shop. The location is perfect, the food tastes great, there are high-quality wines and good long drinks! The coffee also tastes great. I will gladly come again

Deli Sülz is a deli restaurant opened in 2020 in Cologne Sülz. The interior is very modern and trendy. The dishes are freshly prepared and come from sustainable sources. Vegetables and meat come from regional suppliers. The menu ranges from meat dishes to vegetarian and vegan dishes. Deli Sülz serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, a wide dessert menu. The service is very friendly and attentive. Deli Sülz: Very tasty and definitely try it!

Very nice deli. I really like the concept. It's great what you did with the store! You feel very comfortable, regardless of whether you come by for dinner or just for a short drink. Your tarte flambée is great, as are the bowls. Not to mention the extremely nice waiters and waitresses. You can feel: a lot of heart is in here!

I was there when they first opened, it was a bit hectic, you should wait a little longer for brunch. The food was delicious and nicely prepared. The staff was extremely nice and tried hard. Even got ice cream as a gift.

All in all, everything has to work in a little, which I find absolutely normal and legitimate for a new restaurant. The sometimes really unfair reviews here have prompted me to counter this with 5 stars. The restaurant is really great and has been furnished with a great deal of attention to detail. The menu is extensive and priced more than fair. Due to the fact that some of the food is served already prepared, it unfortunately seems a little sunken, but that didn't detract from the taste at all. I wish you continued success and I am very happy about this wonderful location in Sülz! :)

Super nice shop right in Sülz. The owner put a lot of effort into the design of the restaurant! During the week you can have breakfast at 8 a.m. Can only recommend the bowls! Very tasty ?

After waiting forever for a table (and I am happy when the shop is well attended), we were allowed to sit down at an inside table on which we could push together the remains of the food from the previous table. We were made to wait 10 minutes, looked at our table in disbelief from time to time until an employee took pity on cleaning our table and took our drink order. Two large Tegernsee lakes on tap, actually really great that someone offers something so good. It's just a shame that this is then served in a wheat glass. As a beer drinker, you quickly lose your desire or are you interested in drinking your Kölsch from a wheat glass? About the ambience: It reminded us of a cafeteria. Loud, hectic, seemingly uncoordinated counter staff who obviously don't know exactly what to do / should. It might be enough for a drink outside, but that has nothing to do with cozy food. We noticed that the guests are mostly women (approx. 75%). They rarely drink large Tegernsee lakes and are often satisfied with small portions. Sometimes it just doesn't fit, we expected more from DeliSülz.

Highly recommend this Deli Sülz. Great wines, fresh Tegernsee light and tasty snacks to eat. Sit outside (not only on Sülzburgstrasse but now also on Berrenratherstrasse) in the middle of the city and be served very friendly (from 5 p.m.). It's great that it's back!

We were there in the evening. Friendly and attentive staff, the atmosphere was relaxed but the food didn't convince us. The sweet potato chips were unfortunately very, very fatty. The vegan tarte flambée with grilled vegetables was tasteless, it lacked salt / pepper / seasoning and it wasn't crispy at all. The dips were okay. There is still a lot of room for improvement.

New in Sülz! Instead of La petite France with wonderful Alsatian cuisine, now a "Deli" with cross-over cuisine. Orders are placed at the cash register, you should find out what you want to eat beforehand, otherwise you will stop at the shop at peak times. The menu is manageable, as a reminiscence of Frau Horst from Alsace, there is also tarte flambée. The potato salad with roasted Serrano ham was delicious, in terms of quantity for 6.80 euros, it was probably a little tight. The re-ordered tarte flambée - you have to go back to the counter to order - is not even close to what you can expect. Half as big as usual, about two thirds of it without any topping and that too thin. The taste is far from what you appreciate about the pastries. And for that 8.20 euros. Not at all convincing. The open Riesling from Kallfelz was absolutely fine. The ambience: young and modern furnishings. Everything is a bit hectic, you can't find peace here, also because the noise level is extremely high. At least for the young Sülzer that seems to be something, as the number of young guests shows. Even for an older person like me, the Deli Sülz is a good thing for a quick snack or a quick breakfast. Nothing more, but nothing less either. Service: Very nice ladies and gentlemen at the counter!

Beautifully and stylishly furnished shop. Staff extremely friendly and even equipped with a small shop where you can buy every Cologne coffee for home! The tapas in the evening were excellent, I'll be back!

Great cafe for breakfast, drinking coffee or perfect for a relaxed lunch break. Great decor, super nice staff, good selection of food and drinks and perfect location in the middle of Sülz! Definitely to be recommended at any time of the day.

Super nice shop with very nice staff and a large selection of different dishes. Has been there several times since it opened and always satisfied. The coffee is superb !!
